Chapter 1.8 - The Queen Has Arrived

Hello again!

Welcome back to the McKracken legacy! Last time, Nate and Bai aged up into adults (and didn't have a midlife crisis), and Martha aged up in a child.

Let's kick start this chapter with Martha standing in the graveyard.

During a full moon.

She rolled a wish for it, so I let her do it.

Why? Don't ask me, I don't know what goes inside her head.

I don't think anyone does.

With the two girls now children, the competition for the heiress title was heating up.

Martha: Vote for me, so that I don't end your miserable lives!

Peony: You cretin! You don't vote for a queen!

Martha: Daaaad! She called me a cretin!

Peony: Father! You don't vote for royalty! Everyone knows that!

Ignoring his daughters' squabbling, Nate continued to read his book, keeping one eye on them in case one of them decided to use their makeshift sceptre as a weapon.

Sensing a disturbance in the force, Bai came over to see what the fuss was about.

I know you two are close, but you don't need to be that close.

Bai: Is everything okay?

Nate: Just our lovely daughters arguing again. The usual.

This is a recurring theme. These two make out in front of their girls all the time.

Peony: They're doing it again, aren't they?

Martha: Just zone out the noise.

Peony: Easy for you to say, I have to sleep in here!

Hey, at least they are eternally faithful to each other.

Nate rolled a wish to get a tree house.

A tree house for the girls to use?

Of course not.

A tree house he and Bai can use.

*sigh*

But, he is loving life at the moment!

Martha: Ugh, must we go to school? We've had so much time off, can't we just pull a sickie?

Peony: Maybe you can, but I'm going to be top of my class.

Martha: Teacher's pet.

Peony: Peasant.

Don't you just love sisterly bonding?

The girls went on a field trip to the local theatre.

How did that go?

Martha: If I stand up, Peony can't see the screen!

Peony spent the whole show whispering "peasant" under her breath.

Sisterly love <3

When they got back, Peony blew the candles out on her birthday cake.

Martha: *Martha.exe has stopped working*

With a flurry of sparkles...

Peony may be smiling on the outside, but she's dying inside.

Peony: *through gritted teeth* Oh God what is this hair? And this turtleneck?!

Here's Peony, post makeover. She is incredibly pretty, and her button nose is more prominent now. She rolled Proper as her teenage trait, which is what came up when I hit randomise. Despite only going to school for one day, she got an A grade. I don't know either.

Peony: Bow before your queen.

And another chapter comes to a close! As of writing this, generation three has arrived! I'll get to announce the rolls next chapter, so stay tuned (whenever that may be).

See you next time!

Chapter 1.7 - Birthdays

Hello again!

Hard to believe that we are in chapter seven of the first generation, and the generation two children are still only a child and a toddler. In previous attempts, the gen two spawn would all be teenagers by now.

Anyway, last chapter Peony grew up into a child, and nothing much else happened.

This chapter, we're kicking off with a birthday.

Or, rather, two birthdays!

With Peony looking on, Nate and Bai blew out the candles on their cakes.

Bai: I don't feel any different...

Nate: Eyyyy, still got it.

I wanted to see what Bai would look like with loose hair, and I liked it so much I decided to keep it. I also put him in a new outfit, still inspired by his Chinese origins. He's still an absolute cutie.

Nate still looks the same, except I stuck in a grey jumper. As a father of two, I figured he should look a bit more "grown up". Even if he doesn't act the part, he should at least look the part.

Fortunately, neither of them had a midlife crisis. Thank God.

With Martha walking around, Bai took some time to reflect on everything.

Bai: Ah, life is good. Nice husband, good house, two lovely daughters... Everything is right in the world.

Indeed, even after all this time, Nate and Bai are still happily married.

And Nate is still getting a ridiculous amount of raises.

I fucking love winter in the Sims 3. Not a big fan of it in real life (I'm much more of a late spring person), but I can't deny how pretty it looks.

(I actually made this my laptop background shush)

I also took the moment to turn the downstairs into an open plan area, just to give everything a bit more space.

I also discovered the Bai still had his hair in his plait because that was his hairstyle when he became a blue belt, so he was was still wearing it until he got his new belt.

Anyway, Martha's birthday soon came round.

Martha: T̷̨̧̛͚̯͔̫̮̖̟͖̳̬̀̈̋̂̋̆̈́̕h̸̗͙͈̊̌̽̒̿̿̈̇̾͌ĭ̴̞͓̟̟́̌͊̒̌̄͝š̵̢̱͖̲̀̈́̀̄̾͊̀͗ ̶̢̮̹̹̖͎̖͉̟͔̟̈̓̊͂̈́̊ͅį̴̨̢͙̰̪͌́͊̓͐͐̀̾̋́͘s̷̮̒̋͌̅̀͝ñ̷͕̥̩͈̙͓̭͌̄͂̄̂͑͌͝'̷̖̮̭͖̇̾t̵̗̙̘̀ ̴̞̼͖͈̈͋̏̊ȩ̸͚̭̮͎̰̣̹̟͈̪̈́̈́̀͋̽̈́̏́v̴̛̝̯̪̥͍̫̭̾̽̌͐̊͘͝ͅͅë̴̢̜̱̱̰̦̱̪̘͚̳́̀̂͌ͅn̴̨̫̖̊̋̇̂͘ ̵̛͙̮̙͈̟͕͍̓̔̎́̽̔͐̔̌͐m̵̨̰͚̳̩̊͗̀̑̄̕̕̕y̴̢̗̩̫̜̫͎̗̬̮͓̫͆̐͜ ̸̡̩̟̻̼̑̏͘̚͜͝f̵̨̛̮̳̬̟̗͈̰̬̠̟̯̞̍̑́̌̀͝i̸̧̪̘̺̘̤̽̋̀̏̒̓͆́́̀̒̚͝n̴̦̹̣͙̫̹̪̈͂̀̽́́̐̍̋̆̕ā̸͙͉͍̥͔͚͎͒l̵̛̹̻͈̳͎͔̘̞̀̑̇̐ͅ ̵̦͙͓̙̹͙̣͔̐̍͑͐̊f̴͚̰̤͉̬̼̤̤̟͓̥̐́̆̀͒͋͐̀̓̍͜o̶̧͔̞̥̯̜̳̘̣̫̥̓̔̌̈́̇͐͗̈r̴̠̮͕̠̈́̂͆̾͌̄͊̀̈́̃̋̍̈m̵̝͔̰̯̬͊̀̎̓̑͘͠͠͝

Once Martha has finished being Slender!Martha, she's actually a pretty little girl. One thing I like is that both girls have eye colours close to their favourite colours. Peony's eyes are purple, which is close to pink. Martha has grey eyes, which is similar to black. As such, she wears a lot of grey and black.

Martha's childhood trait is Loner. I swear I did not intentionally pick that, that's what came up when i hit randomise.

Peony suddenly realised that she now has competition for the heiress role.

Martha McKracken, or Wednesday Addams?

Even better when you realise that Peony is the one with her hair in plaits.

Speaking of people who wore their hair in plaits...

Look who is now a brown belt! So close to getting half of his Lifetime Wish done!

School was still closed due to the heavy snow, but the girls decided to go out to the school playground for some sisterly bonding.

Neither of them decided to wear the proper clothing. Martha at least was wearing a dress with sleeves, along with tights and boots, so she was somewhat covered up. Peony, though, decided that the best thing to wear is a sleeveless summer dress and flip flops.

She really is her father's child.

And I'll leave this chapter here with this notification:

How is that even possible?!

----

Another chapter comes to a close! I much prefer these shorter chapters, because they are easier to write and I can focus on other things happening. As well as make the screenshots I take last much longer shush.

As of writing this, the first Generation Three spawn is on the way, so that means that I have a whole backlog of screenshots to make chapters with.

See you next time!

Chapter 1.6 - Family "Bonding"

Hello again!

I have some good news! As of writing this, I am onto Generation Two! I won't spoil who become the heir, but just know that I have enough screenshots of Generation One to write chapters for the next couple of weeks, just in case my work load at work gets too manic again.

The last chapter ended with Nate completing his Lifetime Wish and adopting another daughter called Martha.

Let's get things started with...

A birthday!

Yep, Peony's becoming a child. I know it seems sudden, but I did skip the burrito stage.

Nate: Yay, cake!

You're welcome for any nightmares you may experience.

Peony is really pretty. She doesn't look like either of her parents, which is no surprise as she was adopted. She rolled Disciplined as her childhood trait, so I stuck in plaits like her dear Papa (Bai). She does have a big nose, but it turns into a button nose as she gets older.

I did a bit of renovation to try and make the house look less crappy, but I then realised that the family moves out of the house not long after. So I basically gave it an upstairs to give the girls a bigger room.

Peony still loved playing with her doll.

The way she's sitting reminds me of my dog, who likes to lay in the middle of the kitchen and take up most of the kitchen space. It's especially annoying when you're trying to cook.

Martha's doll is so imaginary that even she can't see it.

Bai now has a TV which he can work out in front of to get himself closer to achieving his Lifetime Wish and get me closer to achieving the generation goal.

Do those star jumps, boy!

The next day was a snow day, but Peony was not about to let snow get in the way of her education. She hopped on her bike and cycled through the snowy roads of Riverview.

Random girl who's name I forgot to write down: Erm, school isn't on...

Peony: I'm here to learn, peasant.

Eventually, she was convinced by the headteacher to just go home. She did so reluctantly, muttering under her breath that she Not Happy About This (TM).

Back home, Peony and Martha enjoyed some sisterly bonding time over the block table.

Martha: When will daddy have heartbreak?

Well, Martha, it doesn't look like he's going to be experiencing heartbreak any time soon.

No joke, as soon as I saw these beauties pop up, I actually squealed and clapped my hands. They are faithful to each and lOVE EACH OTHER SO MUCH I'M CRYING!

Also, Bai got a promotion!

Martha: They told me I could become anything, so I became a block table.

Peony: Father, I think we need an exorcist...

(Peony calls Bai "Papa", and Nate "Father")

Snowflake Day came and went, and I was an idiot and forgot to screenshot Bai and Nate getting their bonuses. It was a lot, and they decided to sell the house and move to somewhere nicer before the girls got any older.

Luckily, there was a house on the market that was quite cheap (after a lot of demolition work shush) and close to the school. This cute old farmhouse had plenty of room for expansion when the girls get older.

The upstairs was simple and basic, because I ran out of money D:

Same with the downstairs. It's weird seeing the house in this state, compared to what it is like at the start of Generation Two. Can I get nostalgic over a house?

Now that they had settled into their new house, the family went to the Winter Festival as a sort of family bonding experience. It went as well as you think it went.

Bai and Nate spent the whole time staring into each others eyes and making out...

Peony played with her doll in front of the toilet, proving that she likes to get in the way of other people...

And Martha played with her so-imaginary-it-doesn't-exist doll.

And I will end this update here with this image that I managed to get of a couple of ice skaters doing an interpretive dance. They could have just slipped on the ice, but we all know it's an elaborate form of dancing that involves flinging themselves back to land on the ice arse first.

----

And another chapter comes to a close! A short one, mainly because the next chapter will start with something big! Feel free to speculate what this may be.

See you next time!
